...loyees are useless only thinks about own and never do their work as they paid. If you are permanent in cdac you can enjoy your life with doing nothing and get a good package because they are government employees.

We have flexi timings, with open culture to learn and work freely. Especially AI and quantum teams, the leads are very knowledgable and mentor well. I feel fortunate that i am working in AI group at cdac bangalore and got very good opportunity to work on core research in AI. This is the place where an AI aspirant should start his career.

Salary is not on par with industry.

One drawback of working at C-DAC is the lack of a fixed promotion structure. Freshers join as Project Engineers, but promotions to roles like Senior Project Engineer are rare and depend on project needs and management decisions. This can make career growth uncertain.

...ities promise unrealistic timeline to client and pressure employees to work day and night, delayed appraisal, but cut your salary in time for being late in office

Personally, I have done Masters and based on that I'm not getting package, position and recognitions. People should think more about the projects than politics.
