It's a govt of India department under ministry of urban development. Core engineering job but not very satisfactory whether it's salary, skill development or career progression ( for class 2 employees)

1. No incentives or promotion/ career progression based on your performance. 2. Salary is very low if you compare it to private sector.

...rk as well as maintenance work like house wiring, AC, lift, mortuary cooler etc.Salary i.e.consolidated remuneration is given via bank account through Treasury.But on site inspection is completely depend on the project.No TA is given.

The job is temporary type and the salary is consolidated pay of 24870/-.No HR, TA, DA, Medical Leave, CL is given as because of contractual employee.

CPWD is the concern department under Urban Development of Central Govt. of India. There are various projects for construction of buildings, Electrical works, Road & bridges and many more. The works both in field and officially performed well under specification and rules as per CPWD norms followed by the concern officials of CPWD. Good work culture, well manner every works is perfectional done by the department and the Agencies under the works of Agreements in CPWD.

Usually the regular staffs get benefits like CL, EL, LTC, Medical etc along with the 7th pay scheduled with DA and other allowances in salary that makes satisfactory financial supports with significantly job security. But, we the daily basis contractual employees get only the basic wages according to the approved labour rate of CLC for 26 or 29 or 30 days basis in a month. No any other benefits like CL, Medical not provided to us. We fill quit separated from regular employees accordingly to their behavior, whereas having good educational qualification and communication skills. Because of not having Govt. secured job and not conscious about to avail Govt job sectors. Sometimes lots of working pressure have to handle and done with direction of higher officials without any good appreciations afterall receive only regrets. There are no any option for any kind of promotion. Salary hike only on basis of labour rates by CLC accordingly.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

My first project in hill Station i gather the more experience in that project it will very easy to survey in plain area i have a good support from my section and subdivision i have a quality leader i learned more
