Being central public sector enterprise job security was 100%. Since seven cci factories were closed due to mis management, there is little scope to careergrowth.Upgradation of cement Units were not done asper new technology in the market, thus consumption of electricity, coal which is costing 65%of cement production , compare to private sector is more by ----- 75%. Public money is wasted like this.

Promotion policy was discouraging. Decision making by management is not good.New technology upgradation is lacking.Therefore no growth / expansion of industry.

Our company is the only CPSU in the business of manufacturing and marketing of cement. It has been through many ups and downs in the past and survived much like Indian Democracy. Despite sever Competition from pvt players it has been able to be in green for last several years. It provides challenging work environment and unlimited opportunities to learn. It has recently seen cultural and generation change & is settling . The company provides ample opportunity to the deserving. Satisfied with the growth that I had.

Overall it was a great experience to work with the company. The experience I gained in different segment like legal,administration besides marketing had given me new thoughts. I was completely satisfied with work culture.

Dislikes

The growth of an employee is only based upon its ACR which effect the efficiency of a hard worker. There is no out of the way promotion. The working is asper the guidelines and framework resulted you can't iniciated New thoughts etc etc.
