Team members are good.
Scope of learning is steep.
Pay is good if you’re an MBA from a premium college.
Family owned business where most of your day would be used to either manage egos of bosses or attend meetings which would’ve been an email.
Long term employees have been forced to resign on petty charges like not being available on a weekend.
You’ll always be overworked coz they are always understaffed.
Team mates are really good but the company culture is such where it is difficult to survive for more than a year. Traveling is great but the work life balance goes for a toss and it is indeed difficult to cope with the pressure put in by the senior management specially partners and directors.
Salary is much much on the lower side. Travel is extensive (expected in consulting) but there is not enough training provided on the projects that consultants are put on. Timelines and deadlines are ridiculous.
The exposure to the entire scope of projects and being hands on with them.
Dislikes
1) Extremely poor and toxic culture.
2) Zero mentorship from senior management. Very non supportive and derogatory
3) Limited opportunities for learning and skill improvement
4) Improper HR department. No employee support
5) No employee engagement activities
6) Poor work life balance
7) Employee bias
Poor work culture, abusive senior Management,no clear career path, no clear appraisal system although they boast of themselves running HR transformation programs for clients
Absolutely no concept of work life balance and hire-fire policy with no job certainty. Consultants are more often than not over stretched due to the extreme lean operating model.
