Working at CareerBuilder was good till now. Good work life balance, Advance technologies used so learning part is more.

Dislikes

...r with another company, things changed. Everyday you have fear of getting fired. The another bad part is bonus and appraisal. I have not get discussed bonus as per the document. Also the appraisal happened only once in these 3 years, also only 2.5%.

I have received a mail regarding the job openings. Career builders has asked me to pay the payment for premium plan. And after that they have asked me to pay more money And nobody has informed me. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
