You can get promoted if you know how to do corporate politics You might find good friends due to trauma bonding

Salary is not as per market standards. They do not provide you any reason for providing you hike and promotion , the management take the decision , the reason for the decision making on what hike to give a person remains unknown . Cannot leave a project , you would have to quit the job or face a lot other repercussion in the process of leaving a project voluntarily . No flexibility in that sense. . Cannot change your domain . Company is full of politics . No other perks , no benefits , the medical insurance policy is also not good ( any claim is bound to be rejected ) . A lot of old managers with old way of thinking .

Promotions are biased If you are from north and your manager is South Indian don't expect for any promotion or salary hike Bench people are treated very badly Shift allowance is very bad compared to other companies

Salary credited on time and leave approval is not an issue.

Dislikes

HR professionals do not join Capgemini. The worst thing is the company culture, If you have enough butter and oil then an individual can grow here. No upskilling and opportunities in IJP. The HR doesn't share full HR Policy about benefits and appraisal and HR manual to employees. Annual increment depends on manager biased. The worst part is 90 days notice period without any buyout option. The company interview is full of drama and they'll put you in a servicedesk job and make your job profile worst everyday. Managers are not knowledgeable about process and procedures they hire wrong professional for the wrong position. Overall recommendation DO NOT Join CG Kolkata as it's an MNC by name but the culture and environment is unorganized like a local galli startup.
