Al we can say is the job is secure and they no economy fluctuations affect the salary .it is ever so gradually increasing in a slowest pace possible.

Dislikes

Everything else is bad in here. Please don't prefer. This is not a government job. We are semi -govt. This is more like IT companies with transferable 'perks'. More pressure,More stress, Very bad work life balance . And you will have a snake as your colleague. Oh wait! Snakes are even better. Also such backward thinking people, still living in 1950s.

Good environment and work culture. Teammates are supportive. Appraisals are fair.

Dislikes

Career growth us good but salary is average. Work pressure is immense on people who want growth. PAN India transfers comes with promotions.

It's tipical PSU. No work life balance and poor compensation. Full of corruption and that too at the cost of young officers and further no protection to the young recruits from their corrupt executives as vigilance will follow their own guidelines even though everyone/ whole bank knows who is the real person involved. I don't recommend any skilled person for PSU banks.

Nothing like team work. No protection from corrupt executives. Only chatu employees can perform better.

Bank Job is a good job in society but pure central govt job is some what better than bank job.

Job Insecurity in banking sector increasing day by day due to proposal of bank mergers and Salary Aspects compare to Central Govt very poor compensation(pay scales). Banking became more risky as staff accountability was fixed to the employee even for unintentional frauds. Mistakes happen even when we are so much careful. There is lot of change in work nature in coming days. A number of cross selling products like insurance policies APY Schemes PMJJBY PMSBY Jan Dhan Yojana Demonitization all were forced by us on customers though they are not interested because of targets imposed by govt to banks.
