Likes

Group politics by old employees who are also supported by the management. Anyone who has completed 10 years is a potential bully. New employes will have do assignmemts of the bullies. Management will always support the oldies even if you are a super employee.

Dislikes

The appraisal system is very offensive and you will be let down smilingly. Your extra work and initiatives will not be recognised. You will be framed and blamed and shown the door once they get their bootlicker replacement ready.

The only thing I loved was interacting with students and their parents. The other thing I loved is that you can excel without even working for it though. Just bribe your senior with gifts.

The most I hated is the meetings where your ideas are stolen by your boss. He rejects ideas and after a year or so introduces the same as if it was his own. I'm talking about the principal here.

Canadian curriculum was new for me and it was a great learning experience where focus was on developing different skills. The curriculum gave a lot of freedom to choose the text and integrate the learning process through inter disciplinary pedagogy.
