Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I joined this company on 10th Nov only because it was Work from Home. My Salary was due on 10thDec, However until today I’ve not received my Salary. When I checked with the boss who is the co founder for this company she kept giving me excuses like the accounts team have initiated the Transaction and then The bank accounts have frozen. I tried to reach her multiple times over the phone, she was very rude and didn’t apologise for the delay in salary. I would highly recommend not to join this company or have any acquaintance with them. They are cheats and very rude. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I’ve been through. This is a SCAM COMPANY. BTW : The Co-Founder Name is Cathy Wilson
