There is nothing to like while you work with Burns. On contractual basis. Worst and third class company to work with.

Dislikes

...t roles. Contractual employees are treated like they are some unworthy employee. No holidays, no PL no CL no leaves at all and even if you take a leave your salary will be deducted as loss of pay, even 26th Jan and 15th August which are public holidays, the salary is deducted, no appraisals for contract workers unless you do Haanji in front of your managers, the hr department is clearly hopeless and selfish. Half of the managers in HR departments (Rasika More, Aarti Gupta, Surabhi Kanitkar,Snehasis Aadhya) are in their position coz they know that no other company is going to hire them as they are worthless and get all the work done from their subordinate and take the credit and the rest are freshers who don’t even know what the hell they have been doing there. The CAO of the company will show around to be the most helping person but in real the CAO (Parul Gopal) is the main culprit (most manipulative in the whole office) for the bifurcation and treating the contractual workers as if they are daily wage workers. This company is utter waste of time. They don’t have anything in India apart from outsourcing the business in US. There has been instance this year itself wherein in a massive scale employees have resigned from the company, approximately 30 40 people have left at once, this is how Burns & Macdonnell Engineering India Pvt ltd, which is located at Vikhroli works. I have worked here for a good span of time hence if you are reading this do not ever go and work in this company, even if you don’t have a job for couple of months, don’t ever enter this degraded and biased company.

If you are Permanent employee in Burns McDonnell then it's really great place to work. But for Contact employee there are certain policies which are not very attractive. And for contact employee you don't have a job security which is the same case everywhere.
