Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... enhance you overall like soft skills, presentation skills, technical parts too. Salary hikes and incentive program is very good.

Dislikes

Inter department coordination is not that good. Need improvement in that very much. Travel reimbursement calculation is not as per current cost of living.

External events which company plans such as cricket tournament etc, but that will also stop soon, there are many other things which I did not like about the company.
