Over the years, the work culture has drastically improved. Their HR policies are good and you do get your pay on time. Some of the higher management authorities are accessible and kind.

...niversities aren't far behind) but there's too much documentation and paperwork. The justification of getting a good salary is compared with the amount of work you get done that is recorded on paper rather than stressing on better teaching-learning conditions. A faculty will barely get time to prepare for a class and although a preparatory leave is given for research work, a university should understand one fixed day cannot make you produce UGC and Scopus Indexed publications.

...e and helpful. The students are really respectful and it is a joy to reach them. Timely appraisals and salary credited is another benefit.

Dislikes

Sometimes the stress of the work gets to us. Wish the deadlines were fixed keeping in mind how much is attainable within that time by the staff. The entry and exit timings are too strict. Wish there was a little flexibility and consideration.
