...irm is how ethical values are important and how to maintain professional ethics. However, the compensation paid to employees is much less when compared to other firms and also the branch where I worked(Vijayawada) has work core based on traditional audits and not much in management consultancy services and other areas where CA's have a bright future. Other than this the firm is excellent in every aspect. I prefer young CA's to begin their career at firms like these. I was part of audit team and I used to travel a lot to carry out the audits and used to stay 4 to 6 months outside vijayawada. I used to enjoy a lot while working and travelling and also as the firm adhere to strict rules adhered by the ICAI, the working hours were 10AM to 5PM weekdays(with few excuses).

Dislikes

Nothing much, but there is a problem not only with this firms but majority of firms , where they only concentrate on traditional audits and not on consultancy services and special areas. For example I don't know that there is thing called CMA data when I worked there. But recently I came about to know that they are expanding their scope of work to other than traditional audits which is a good sign for those who are willing to work there.

There will be Training sessions on Saturday which are helpful for knowledge transfer. 7. Location of Office is at Central business District which is near to MG Road, Metro station( Both Cubbon park & MG Road stations). 8.

1. Hard to maintain Work life balance at Quarter closure, Due date Months and other critical times. 2. Middle level employees are less. 3. Saturdays are not Holidays except 4th Saturday. 4. IT Infrastructure is little bit problemsome. 5. Work Planning is less effective

The experience and insights gained are well worth the sacrifice of a work-life balance. Futher you dable into various types of audits (not just statutory audits), which provides fruitfully knowledge and experience.

Worst place to work. Might be good for articles but not for qualified CAs. Partners barely have knowledge in latest topics and firm is running because of past legacy. They are technologically very backward.
