Being a force member i can not share more information but in the force average career growth and sufficient salary and a job which gives to chance for continuously learning and here is good environment for official work and work life balance is average

Dislikes

Force is deployed far flung areas from home. It is very difficult to leave the house for duty and here work life balance is not good.

... The teammates was so helpful and the overall working environment was also good. The salary was also according to Central Govt. Rules.

Dislikes

The dislike factor is that an employee has to be engaged and has to stay standby round the clock after duty at Battalion level.

Very good work environment and discipline force guarding border of Bangladesh and Pakistan, Giving very good salary and bonus every year but due to nature of work family Life is disturb

...rtive, rules are transperant. Componey policies are good, appraisals are fair. Salary is reasonable.

BSF is one of the largest border guarding forces in the world. One gets exposure in many fields as there are options to go in deputation. We get opportunity to visit new places during our service period. Duties, rules & restrictions are transperent. Coys are given job training regularly to maintain professional knowledge of troops. Physical fitness, medical and Wpn tests are also given to know individuals capability. Over all a very responsible job.

...ity force is India's first line of defence. It's under control of home ministry. This is permanent job with good salary , bonus etc.

Dislikes

Lack of family life and difficult environment condition.
