...od journey with BNY Mellon with regards to work and skill sets I have developed. Salary appraisal is done on timely basis along with focus towards bringing employees salary to meet market standards. Considering in-house IT team, there is a continous focuse towards process automation and have met the goal. There are multiple teams or groups working towards society, diversity, sports with a focus on employee engagement. Company also take lead in organising learning opportunities through external vendors.

Dislikes

Travel policy is very strict since company is focused towards cost. At one point, company focuses towards diversity and inclusion, however on the other end, caste, religion, state of domicile etc becomes a huddle. You can find politics in almost every organisation, so no comment. Due to working in night-shift, work life is not balanced. In current situation, there is a major challenge towards job security.

The work & self learning environment, employee facilities & benefits, pay packages ( industry wise) is very good & lucrative. Bny

Dislikes

Too much bureaucracy, Supervisor descretion level for team appraisal & incentive payouts are minimal ( most major decisions are implemented by operation managers, Service deliver leads), contract employee are heavily utilized & policies are very poor( temporary staff contracts are majorly extended due to baseless reasons, resulting in high dissatisfaction), job security is highly vulnerable. Technologically bny is very obsolote( most hardware systems are very slow & applications outages are very common)

Good Pay in Chennai Industry. Work Culture. Good Bonus. Cab Facility. Building Infrastructures and Facilities. CSR Initiatives. Good Leaves structure.

Dislikes

Slower Growth of Promotion. Learning stangancy. Reducing work force in recent times. System / Automation tools not effective.

Salary structure where you will have only fixed component.

Dislikes

Fire and hire method where everything will be blamed on company or HR. In 4 years haven't spoke with HR a single time regarding feedback. They remain ghost in office. No exit interview. Peakon survey is failure with no confidentiality.
