Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Many Indians are working here so you don't feel alone in foreign country. Secuirty is also good. They don’t kick you out unless there is a solid reason for it.

Dislikes

Favouritism and racist all over the company, if you belong to particular religion and state then you will get promotion and many benefits even if you are just 8th pass or fail doesn’t matter.

Proudly to say almost all the staff are Indians

Dislikes

There is no work and life balance, no fair practice of salary increment, there will be no further life if you start working in the company only office and your accommodation. Do not think about accommodation, there will be a single room for your stay and that has to be shared with someone.
