Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Training and Getting salary on Time.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is very slow,The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 15- 16 hours straight in a day due to short of manpower, Management'do not value individual's unique strengths. Also they do not have any standard for hiring sales associates, Hence senior folks like me have to guide, Train, them from scratchCareer Growth, Work environment and keeping work- life are challenging.

Highly toxic and micromanagements manager No job security and they can terminate you after probation period over no Matter how much you have worked well . Totally disappointed !!

It's a data driven company. Everyone has a access of functional data for analysis.

Dislikes

Too much analysis and group meetings. Scenario building overaly used. Everyone does business analysis. Slow decision makers.

I had best teammates we use to work as time and always use to enjoy working. I have learnt new things from my manager which was very supportive..

Dislikes

No overtime.. company use to make us work long working hours.no appraisal..I found career deadlock
