Senior management that sits in London does not care about employees. They care about the business and product, but it looks like they are spoiled that too, by making everything move so fast that it went out of their hands too. Bad planning led to mass layoff, with well... no notice at all. One evening I am raising PR with new features and next evening I am jobless.

BlueOptima has a great work culture and you get the opportunity to work on some really challenging projects. There are plenty of opportunities to grow and improve your skillset. Overall, a great company to work for.

On some days you'll find that work life balance goes for a toss and you'll work more on certain days.

Company MeetUps. Some great and smart colleagues. Good for candidates starting their career for they should jump in few years for better experience and exposure. weekend work if any, is paid.

Dislikes

1. unrealistic targets 2. too much recurrent and unnecessary criticism and no appreciation at all. 3. inevitable burnout within years 4. your self-confidence and core will be crushed to the core, over time. 5. Forget about work-life balance and there won't be a life at all sometimes. 6. you might be refused the things you worked hard and you deserved. 7. mental health will take a heavy toll. 8. tech leaders and workaholics and expect you the same, you will have no value/growth otherwise. 9. these systems are very monolithic and very far away from the current modern system design. 10. unnecessary micromanagement. All the time logs are scrutinized.
