The work culture is disappointing with excessive office politics, long shift hours without overtime pay or recognition. A select few have experienced significant career growth due to their personal relationships with managers. Individuals like Abhinandan, hemlata, Nishant, anirban among others have consistently benefited from promotions and growth opportunities

Salary is better compared to other similar roles, except that nothing.

Dislikes

Culture, training, management, and whatnot... They don't provide you with proper training and expect 100% from you. They have the worst culture, even though you put forward your concerns and issues with the senior manager, nothing is going to change and they do favors to only those bootlickers. The HR's are the worst of a kind, they won't take any action and try to back the managers which doesn't make sense. There is no learning. They do shadow fund accounting and they claim it as end-to-end fund accounting. Most of the people in my team already left. Better avoid or consider it as a last option.

The intense project pressure on makers contrasts with the relaxed schedules of reviewers. I often reflect positively on the day I left the firm, given the lack of support received from my lead. Managers like Kamesh, tend to hire only their acquaintances and create an environment that focus others to leave, making room for their own circle. Even HR seems powerless, likely due to backing from higher leadership

Blackstone micromanagement and unprofessional behavior. Blackstone NY people treat wiproites as contractors. Clearly there is a need to change the mentality of Blackstone NY counterparts. Wipro team has lot more caliber than anyone.
