Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

The overall company is good just by its name but what I experiencing till now It is a terrible. I can't imagine that kind of work culture. On my first day everyone was so cool and friendly as long as I spent my first week. They started treating me as a "Majdoor". They don't gave any kind of training at all and keep giving you unnecessary work. In the interview, they told you so many things ..you will learn this that and blah blah.. But you will get 0.

They don't treat you as a human, for them you are machine and they pay you for that. There is no work culture everyone just finding the way to blames you as much as they can.

Dislikes

Upper management is very rigid. Working on very old tech stack. Lack of good senior developers. Nobody cares about engineering they just want the thing to work. Interns/Freshers get to work on new projects which is very costly in the long run. Hike is minimal. No benefits.

No talk believe, took interview for other work and put on other work, very poor management, very poor work culture by higher management, if you want stay here more, do work as director want.
