2023- 2024 update Job Safety wise , it's decent.( depends on project extensions) Limited Clientele

Dislikes

... as there are limited clients with fixed technology patterns ) PAY - BAD i.e. fixed pay + variable pay - yearly hike is VERY VERY LOW . variable pay depends on individual performance + project performance + business unit performance + business profit . So we almost NEVER get full variable pay. Very weird hike policy , base pay hardly increases yearly. So Definitely DONT expect good hikes. NO QUERIES REGARDING HIKE ARE ENTERTAINED DURING APPRAISAL. SO WE BASICALLY CANNOT EVEN QUESTION LOW HIKE. PROMOTIONS - VERY LIMITED. MULTIPLE ROLE ASSIGNMENTS - HIGH . you are expected to work not only your role but also contribute exceptionally well in other project matters despite low hike and low promotions Culture : was great until 2021. But from 2022 and beyond the culture started deteriorating .

Salary on time and work culture is good.

No increment in salary from last 2 years. They have created new salary structure as per that first 10% is progressive variable pay and above that you will get in fixed salary but what appraisal they gave is only 10% so not getting any hike in fixed salary (not a single rupee hike). And if I talk about variable pay they only gave for first quarter and for second quarter not given a single rupee.

I joined recently. Going great so far. During salary negotiations they did not negotiate and offered what I had asked for, there is no Variable Pay, WFH/WFO is allowed. The team I am working with is very supportive too. There are internal training programs every month or so and you can go for external trainings and certifications if needed. The cost gets reimbursed.
