Campus canteen Job security a little more than other average corporates

Dislikes

No good hire. Undeserving candidates and nepotism in large scale. No growth, no competency enhancements, Just blame game without responsibility and respect. No fixes hours, slavery, verbal and even sometime physical abuse to low designated posts. Dean's and associate deans can do anything injustice for their requirements. General managers are misbehaved puppets of them.

As a Research Scholar, I feel that BIT provides a good platform for research and its work culture is smooth.

Dislikes

The following things need to be considered for improvement:- 1. The IRF of the Research Scholar should be raised at par with IITs and NITs norms, i.e. Rs. 31,000 and Rs. 35,000 rather than the present structure of Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 28,000 (for the first two and last two years). 2. The Research Scholars should be provided with the proper workplace in the vicinity of their respective departments. 3. The campus infrastructure needs to be improved.

It used to be a great place till 2010 . Great people used to be there , interdisciplinary research and teaching could be implemented in true sense of the word . Environment on campus was very much family like . With relaxed mind , people used to work with dedication . Thereafter a lot has changed . Now it is like any other private university .
