Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

Salary gets credited punctually. Nothing else..

Dislikes

There are a lot of things. They've increased shift timings by half an hour. Head count is not sufficient. HR department is completely neutral and living their own life..

Nothing good except salary credit panctuallity. Etiquettes and manners in co workers are horrible. Growth and development no chance. Proper head count to perform any job is not available.

Politics - Politics and chatupan. I am not just talking about the accounts team, I am talking about every department whether it is HR, Finance, Purchase department, etc who is busy pleasing his superior or the person who is just doing his work. It means something to him the manager gives him a low rating and then he has to justify his work. What do you do? One important thing is that licking is called walking with superior.
