Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... of things to learn if you are willing to learn BIM/Revit. Company size 25-30. Joining salary is not great but increaments are great. A person starting at 18k as a fresher receives till 50k before completing two years. Flexible working hours, work from also opional on ocassions.

Dislikes

Long working hours, but if long working hours adds knowledge, its fine.

Lot of things to learn. Good company for those who are starting afresh in BIM. Nice opportunity to learn Point Cloud to Revit.

Dislikes

you wont have a life after joining this company. Pay-scale is very less. No growth. Staff of just 10 people max.
