Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...ull of Yes masters and employees are allergic to honest working environment. Government of Bihar is wasting 90% of fund on salary and infrastructure, since quality of education imparted to the students is not conducive for growth of the students.

Dislikes

Poor work culture, Lack of Honesty, Integrity and Truthfulness.
