Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I have started my carrier from this company and have learn new technology, and all aspects related with Software development life-cycle. I have great opportunities to work with all aspects of SDLC. BiCS is giving me opportunities to learn new things, front face with client and personal improvement as well. BiCS is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that i am part of team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base.

Dislikes

I have not feel that any dislike for this company. I am not saying that company has no good management. but I feel that company need to be improve on managing the BiCS and stay happy and healthy environment here. :)
