I was a young woman of 19 when i joined this job as a Lower Division Teacher. I first taught Maths and English to middle school children for a few months. Then they found out that since I was a fresh Commerce graduate, I could take up teaching Commerce subjects to high school students. I took a test and interview and qualified for a promotion as an Upper Division Teacher. I enjoyed the experience of mixing with the young and also learning myself in the process, since I was very receptive to learning at that stage. The older teachers took the opportunity to not only guide me about teaching subjects, but also lessons of life.
