It is nothing like a real job. No P. F, no salary statement, salary must be claimed as expenditure bill (fellowship), no Id card, administrative clerical department is the worst in the state, overall "if u join in BDU as project staff / guest lecture - then u r a ghost (no one)"

Complete freedom, leadership, work culture, and recognition of work. Every faculty has enormous scope for contribution and freedom to work on the areas in which he or she is interested in, without affecting the integrity of the University. Complementary work environments and collaboration and networking to work both within and outside the university. Work is recognized and respected, with appreciation, and sanctioning the proposal submitted.

Dislikes

There has been some split among the faculty colleagues and a failure of representing the needs and demands of the faculty in a collective manner., which may affect the overall performance toward accreditation The top positions, representation in committees, assigning additional responsibilities, etc often go gendered and the skills and talents among women faculty have not been recognized in such nominations except in positions where it is mandatory. It is justified by showing the statutes, but if needed it has to be amended, which does not happen.

This university give good opportunity for carrier development and provide good felicities in the campus.

Academic section is running in a good manner but some times facing more delay in the paper works

Research work in the field of Marine Biology (Marine survey, seawater quality, and resource utilization), Aquaculture (technology for cultivating, algae for biodiesel production, commercial food, dyes, and other important products from marine algae, plants, and animals), Fisheries (Fish culture, fish pharmacology, fish processing and commercial importance for human being for day today benefits) and Teaching for M.Sc Marine science student and biology students.
