No work life Balance. Boss is always right. You will be given 4-5 responsibilities other than what you're supposed to do with no prior training and you'll be held accountable for everything. For more than 4 years I worked 15 days straight with Alternate Sundays as holidays.

Overall salary and benefits are good due to government policies.

Dislikes

Except compensations the company has absolutely zero value to offer. HR has no back bone and is absolutely useless. Staff postings are horrifying. BPCL is the least empathetic corporation on a global level as researched in a detailed review by harvard(can check online).

There is no job security. No promotion or appraisal. After apprenticeship they are ready to offer me a job but with less salary and contract basis not permanent.

Nothing, even though the senior management is very bad, while appraisal they will not care, otherwise they behave like they are the only one owning a company. Senior management is very ignorant to the new ones coming and just believe in sarkar ka paisa khao aur bhul jao

... management to everything only accomodations are good but that too at some cost. They will show such high package with us it was around 19 lpa but in hand it is only 50k and rest is not know. And also they will make u work overtime around 15 hrs. If u are from nit try in some better company and leave this
