BGP International is a Chinese Oil exploration company that is present in almost all the continents of the world. They have good experience in the oil exploration business. What I love in the company is the seriousness and commitment it attaches to obtaining results. It has a very good HSE-MS that help to propel the HSE processes of the organization. It therefore makes the Health, Safety and Environmental Officers to be vigilant and responsive to HSE issues of the Organization.

Dislikes

In fact, my dislikes about the company are that It lacks Job security, It rarely create opportunities for career growth especially at the senior staff level, unless you create time and develop your self. Management most times do not honor safety advise unless incident occurs. salary increment and growth is very slow, hence it create room for poor work satisfaction.

It was great working at BGP-CNPC. I met excellent people and teammates who crave for quality jobs. I wish to go back to the company to work again on a higher ground cos I have had wealth of experience that I would want to share with them.

Dislikes

I worked in BGP-CNPC with all my might and best. Of a truth they made me who I am today. But what I dislike there is the job security. There's no job security and by that every body is being treated and regarded as a casual worker. Once the job ends, you're going home with nothing.

Salary Negotiation in an interview

Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.
