...nts was more or less common; would not recommend the same regarding promotions salary/appraisal - pretty much impaired/close-to-dysfunctional HR deptt will ensure a sadist experience wrt salary/appraisal process (which in other places aren't this big a disgrace); performance bonus component (somewhat in hand of your deptt head/manager) are still satisfying. Travel - Good exposure Politics - plenty, especially in operations teams learning - satisfactory; work environment - studied approach to deal with employees, they did a lot of study to control how you perceive/adapt to company's decision and environments
