Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

The company started well but as they made a rapid growth, they considered themselves for everything and started mental harassment to their staff (marketing and production) which rapidly dropped the company reputation in the market. Now they blame staff for the downfall. The salaries being delayed over month and conveyance/touring reimbursement delayed by 3 months. Who so ever considered to quit lost all pending bills. Entire marketing staff lost over a lack of rupees. The company is totally finished. Couple of years back they were very good paymasters that's why company grew very well. Staff worked heartedly.

Very poor management. Unqualified appointed at senior levels
