New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

All good except the salary and compensation. They don't think to retain the talent whether they will let them go and hire someone less skilled with higher salary. No any plans for existing long serving employees. Rest is okay...

Salary Package is good. Pleasant working environment. Company provide cab facility. Provides Lunch and Dinner. Working time is best 9 -6 and 10-7. (Flexible working hours) working days Monday to Friday and sat sun holiday. This is a company where any experienced one wants to settle. Can manage work life and family life.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which we cannot even think of resigning. On the job, training is not given to new joiners neither did I got the training when I joined.
