Arrays have constant time access to elements using index, while LinkedLists have O(n) access time as they need to traverse from the beginning.
Arrays have fixed size, while LinkedLists can dynamically grow and shrink in size.
Arrays are better for random access and search operations, while LinkedLists are better for insertions and deletions in the middle of the list.
Example: Array - ['apple', 'banana', 'cherry'], LinkedList - apple -> banana -> cherry
In situations where frequent insertions and deletions are required, LinkedLists are preferable. For scenarios where random access is important, Arrays are preferred.
