Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Working on new products, work-life balance & work freedom with decision making.

Dislikes

Salary hike was below the average as compared to other companies, no good basic facilities like- fooding at plant & other maintenance work related to machines & I.T. Interruption of other department heads in finalising of vendors & unrealistic target with unbearable pressure on employees. Multiple reporting to other management who were not related to purchases and vendor development department.
