The people I’ve worked with so far have been really good. They’re supportive and caring and I’ve learned the correct meaning of teamwork here. Barclays has given me a really good start for my career as I joined it directly from College placements. Overall, in terms of team, learning and work environment perspective it has been a really good experience.

Dislikes

...ment level play so bad politics that you just don’t feel like talking to them. Secondly the salary and appraisal is much below the industry standards. Also, there are hardly any travel opportunities that anyone would get here. Thirdly, the growth here is not much. After a point your work and career will become stagnant and that’s when it’s time to move.

... culture, Management is transparent, Company policies are excellent, Appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike bonus every year, Culture is followed by each and every employee truly within the organisation as well as outside of organisation through various social work activities

Overall its been a good experience working in this organisation, salary hike is also good if u hv good rating for the respective year, management is quite similar every other organisation not much of difference. Incase u find an ideal Leader u ll more than happy to come to office otherwise the same old story. HR hardly has a role in case u r facing any problem with the mgmt.

I liked the work but the thing I hated the most was when there were an error or an appreciation from the client, my manager and his manager were always there to steal the credit. But whenever there was an escalation, my manager and his manager were never around d to support.

Dislikes

Compensation and work credit. There were no overtime paid only in our process. Also, when I joined I was told the shifts will be rotational meaning, people who do morning will need night shifts too. But that never happened during my 2.5 years of tenure. Management was very stubborn and sad. They say they will reimburse you if get sick and needed to be admitted to the hospital, but that never happened with me. My manager didn't took interest in it. Also there was a male employee who was not cooperative about work. Even after complaining about him do many times nothing happened.

There is nothing now to like in Barclays just waiting for new job at new location with better salary and position

Hard working employees only get work not increment nor bonus LGBT is the only priority in Barclays so if you want to grow up then don't be straight because management doesn't care about you at all Also mens are at work is only sign you be proven the same at work because if you are men you will be pushed with no encouragement and with no motivation on the other side if you are a girl you would be given all kind of exception since last 3 years I'm witnessing the experience and reporting to any level will not make any difference it rather harm reporter
