How much max does IBM GBS pays for lateral hires of 7A band. Selected as senior data engineer for Barclays project. YOE : 5.5 , CCTC : 15.65 lpa fixed First they offered 20 lpa fixed due to 90 days NP, but now I am getting released 1 month earlier and holding offer of 24 lpa fixed from Aditya Birla Capital. Will they match the offer if I negotiate as I can join them in 10 days.

Dislikes

... years. They get very less increment as compared to the one who are newly hired. I have been working in Barclays for more than 10 years still my monthly in-hand salary is less than 1 lac which is so much disappointing to me. Barclays values are just followed on paper and not in practical.

Absolutely no job security at present situation. Mass layoffs are taking place blindly targeting some of the roles in the name of org restructure and new strategy adoption. Unplanned hiring and firing culture. Worse work culture.

Company is much dependant on their manager, all HR services has been outsourced. So if something goes wrong with the manager then he can toss up your appraisal as well as promotion. There is weekend for you and extensive work hours are expected from you as a normal norm.

Work culture is not conducive for growth. Management claim that they care for people but they actually don't. Manager do not value an individual's unique strength. No culture of recognition. Project management and execution is very poor. Poor work life balance. Pressure cooker situations are frequent.
