ALL ADVOCATES OF INDIA ARE THE MEMBERS OF BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA. ADVOCATE IS AN OFFICER OF THE COURT AS PER SECTION 16 OF THE ADVOCATES' ACTS, 1961 AND ARE GOVERNED BY CODE OF CONDUCT.

Earlier All Advocates enrolled with the Bar Council of India were at liberty to practice at Supreme Court of India, Any High Court of the Country and at any District and / or Trial Court in India, but now they have restricted their practice based on the decisions of higher ups while the new generation is sufferer. All Advocates should be allowed to practice with full liberty to practice law at any Court including Supreme Court and High Court of their choice.
