If you can forget the culture of the company it gives you opportunity to learn at very fast pace compared to big giants. This company is best for freshers who join directly from IIT/NIT. The reason I say that you will have all the facility/infra like canteen, recreational center and hostel. You can use these facility for two years and focus on competitive exams as in company no one cares what GTE's do for one or two years.

...re is pathetic, boss is always right is the ideology. Open politics and biasing. The variable pay is 15-20% of the base pay and you never get the variable pay irrespective of profit that company makes. There are no goals set and at the end of review (well there is no goal setting or performance review system here, you get to know your rating when the salary is credited in account) it's the image you have in your bosses head what gets you good or bad rating. If you are a person who can keep your boss happy irrespective of how it affects the company then this is the company for you. No one trusts anyone even in the same team. HR has to do nothing with what goes on with employees, they are only bothered about how to cut salaries of employees and add that to company profit.

At corporate office, timing is flexible which is good. No problems for sanctioning leaves. More than average annual hike than industry.

Dislikes

Performance appraisal system. Its really disappointing. Lot of constraints. Always assume that performance pay is not part of your salary. Ignore this component. Even it is 5 day week, working hours are 9 hrs 30 minutes so basically Saturday is comp-off rather than weekly off.

No career growth, No Job security, Too much Politics in work, No teamwork, No culture for Suggestions, Old fashioned style of work culture of "Do as Boss say".

Company is open for innovation and provides all support for product development thorough full fledged benchmarking, prototyping and testing.

Dislikes

Compensation is good but growth is slow, more weightage to innovative work compared to day to day work.

Overall the work being done is good for an individual to grow and learn. But after few years the work gets monotonous and the compensation gets flat. So good for your initial years into corporate world.
