There's no clarity of the job profile during the briefing of job and doesn't give fair briefing about job, in my case I was given briefing on B2B and after joining I am assigned to B2C they mentioned their won't be field job and now I just don't know my daily schedule also where I need to head

Worked in Bajaj Allianz since last 5 years and defenitely I have excellent learning experience in this company. Job security is good even in COVID we were getting our full paymet in every month . I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
