Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Salary not come on time usually 2 month delay.if u leave this compny forget about your 2 months salary. Employee work under tourcher. No hr policy follow. If u come.late on this company they will fire on same day. I advice 2 all plz.don't join this company because they spolied your career

Great work experience. Friendly environment. Flexible office timings. Senior's are very cooperative and helpful. Company have a very Prominent Clients. Had a great exposure in New Projects.
