...questioned my understanding of the chromatography column pricing (seriously?). And, after 3 months of work only, the HR met to tell me that my salary would be reduced to 50% as there was no significant column business progress. When I asked what “significant” business they were expecting within such a brief time when the entire industry was struggling due to COVID-19, the HR said the overall business of Axiva was not good; so, they had to go for a pay-cut (which was a lie as their P&L statement said otherwise). Strange enough, the pay-cut was applicable only to me, according to the HR. I could not agree to it, and stopped talking further; however, without any formal agreement, starting the next month, my paycheck was only 50% of what was in my appointment letter. Dear Readers, would you negotiate or resign at that moment of COVID-19 when you did not have any other offer in hand? I could not do either of those two as I had a family to feed. I had to stay silent, and accept that humiliation day by day, month by month, until I grabbed another job and resigned on Feb 17, 2022. The owner (who was my manager as well) claimed in an email, “In 2020, based upon your extremely poor performance, you were asked either to Work on half salary or leave. You chose to work on half salary that time and since Then you are being paid half salary as agreed.” As agreed? WHERE WAS THE NEW AGREEMENT WITH MY SIGNATURE ON IT? There was no question of inferior performance within 3 months of my joining as Axiva never developed the column business before; so, I was developing a business, which would take time, and in that grave COVID-19 situation, I tried doing my best. I was afraid of termination because of erratic behavior from my manager; so, I continued being quiet. Moreover, he did not offer a job confirmation even after 6 months. I never received a work laptop (used my personal laptop all the time). These are "proofs" that as an employer he always took me for granted and enjoyed the privilege of having a highly qualified employee with years of knowledge and experience in the industry of chromatography, who was basically a brand ambassador when he was visiting customers to promote Axiva’s own column brand until his official departure on Feb 26, 2022. Dear Readers, there exist numerous companies like Axiva. Expose them when you get an opportunity. Tell the story so that a jobseeker does not end up getting similar evil treatment from an employer.

Company hires only those candidates who are in needy condition, then they harass them with poor salaries. There is no training or product knowledge sessions, career growth is absent, only if you are good in buttering you will get package. They just import product , change there labels and sell as made in India.

The team as farbas sales is concerned is amazing, provide good training, allowances are good for field employees.

Dislikes

Job security is close to none. Targets assigned are unrealistic, they will demand more than 200% growth. Company has zero patience when it comes to developing a new market. The products are good but not great, one can't really guarantee their quality. The management is a absolute nonsense, have no clear plan to go about things. Also, does not provide medical insurance for field employees.
