Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

There is no culture to work. F&b manager and all the captains are not good. Alway the Treated all the staffs very rudely. HR and fom are same types person but GM is very good. Salary given very late.

Dislikes

There is no fixed salary date. Company has provided salary on date 25 to 28. That's the reason, most of the new staff join the company when they hear salary date the next day they don't join duty.
