New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Automag has supply good products in automation material handling equipment.Company has SAP and working on PDM software to released engineering drawings. We can learn and enhance skill in daily activities.Currently company work on appreciation of employees by doing extraordinary activities.

... 20-25 people lost their job. They have directly been told to leave the company. No salary reduction or any other options given. This has happened 2-3 times earlier also.

The growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. 10 hr. working per day is common. Managers do not value an individuals unique strengths. Actually there is an absolute chaos in the design department where I used to work. There is a severe leadership crisis in the organisation. The designers do not have budget awareness of project. Everything is done by using previous project data. No innovations or appreciations for cost cutting ideas.The dirty internal politics is at peak.
