If Sri Aurobindo's ideals were about higher consciousness, harmony, and spiritual growth, then Auro University seems to have taken a U-turn into chaos, confusion and mediocrity. The management appears utterly clueless about what they preach and practice- spouting vague ideals while steering the institution into a swamp of incompetence. the Leadership here? Spineless. Most of the people at the helm don't deserve to be there. Decision making is arbitrary, driven more by personal whims than any coherent vision. The VC Parimal Vysa, infamous for his verbal diarrhoea, loves the sound of his own voice. I AM SORRY To SAY - he can go on hours, spouting shallow nonsense that ultimately circles down the drain, much like the university's hollow promises. Policies at Auro changes faster than the weather- one blink and there's a new rule, a new direction, often contradicting the last. Appraisals???? lets laugh together, you have got peanuts.

AURO University was founded with the noble vision of integral education inspired by Sir Aurobindo and the Mother. However, since the appointment of the new Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Parimal Vyas, there has been a noticeable shift in the university's direction. The institution, once aspiring to be a premier university, now appears to be narrowly focused on cost-cutting measures, which has adversely affected the quality of education provided. A significant number of graduates are struggling to clear the CUET due to a curriculum that lacks core subjects. Since Dr. Vyas's tenure began, over 40 faculty members have resigned, and the university is facing challenges in recruiting new staff. The number of regular faculty members has decreased from 75 to 45. There is a growing perception that the Vice-Chancellor prefers hiring individuals primarily from Maharaja Sayaji Rao University Baroda, with 8 out of 10 new hires being from this institution. This has led to a sentiment among the university community that one must be "MSU certified" to work at AURO. Furthermore, there are concerns about the Vice-Chancellor's treatment of faculty from other states, who reportedly face discrimination in promotions and increments despite their potential and proven track records. The Registrar, despite lacking the necessary caliber, is favored by the management and implements policies that are perceived to harass faculty members while pleasing the administration. The university's financial decisions also raise questions. Significant funds are allocated to events related to Integral Education, which do not yield the desired outcomes, while proposals for conferences or workshops by faculty members are often denied due to budget constraints. Additionally, there are allegations of unjust financial deductions from outgoing faculty members based on false claims. As the management has zero experience in academics they blindly believe what the VC says. The VC is nothing less of a stand up commedian, he doesn't know what to speak, how to speak, howlong to speak. If he is invited to speak for 10 min then he will go on talking for 50 mins out of which 40 minutes will be worthless. He himself agree that he is whimsical, and in all private meetings he will speak I'll about management or other faculties and will don't quote me out side this room. He is self-contradictory, at first he said in an open meeting I want people to criticise me, argue with me and come up with better policies for the University. And if any faculty brought and any good policy he threw it in dustbin when a senior faculty showed him his faults and highlighted his wrong doings he sought to it that the concerned faculty leaves the University within 20 days. He wants spine less toothless yes men as HoD who will always praise him for nothing. If you have a submissive attitude and say Jahapan Tussi Great Ho Tofa Kabul Karo, then the VC will give you quick promotion and good increment. He has all the qualities that a leader should not. Now AURO University under his leadership is going downwards. The only thing he is here is to get NAAC accreditation and for that also he has changed atleast three times the system of data collection with no proper established SOPs. Being in academics for more than 10 years I can do a better job then him. This review is in public interest if you don't believe me join the University and experience yourself. 🤣

It's a toxic work place. 6 days a week working. No appraisal system. Every 2 years VC changes and he brings his own people or promote as* lickers. Overall if you are looking of career , don't join. If you don't being just check faculty iteration rate. Too high.

The Campus is Vibrant. The only factor holding this god forsaken place together.

AURO University is a classic example of what goes wrong when nepotistic hoteliers with missing academic inclination, knowledge, vision try their hand at education. “The Management” is a phrase used very commonly here to escape accountability. Irony - The Management claims to not know who the management is! This is the place where the Registrar has assumed the role of the HR (His wife works here too. money and honey). His policies take us back in time and make us wonder what is so integral about this university claiming to follow principles of Sri Aurobindo and the mother. Dean Academics deserves a special mention. Lady loves to panic for no reason. Sends voice notes on WhatsApp groups to police subordinates. But empathise my friends, she is a scapegoat. In the name of employees, this organisation engages modern bonded labour who are expected to not use their skills, rationale, experiences. The only activity required on their part is to “OBEY” and restrict themselves to clerical jobs! Obey or get FIRED! At any point the faculties (specially the ones who are at the bottom of the pay scale) play multifarious roles- they manage admissions, tele-call, go for outreach programs to different cities, manage examinations, arrange tables and chairs, attend mindless meetings alongside taking classes (no breaks allowed. Machines don’t need breaks) The leave policy is a joke! There are plenty strays that roam around in the campus. The faculties come after them. Poor lot! Check the attrition rate and you will know.
