Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The work profiles are good but the company and the management are not capable of maintaining them

Dislikes

The management, no proper plan of action and documentation. They just want more of tasks and no process is maintained

Sharing here a very honest opinion ! If you have the hunger to get griller and learn and move on. This is the place for you. Join this place work hard and harder which they will make you do. And after an year you will feel like you faced a lot of difficulties and challenges and get frustrated, but this will payoff nicely in your next job :D . Take your decisions wisely. If married, probably not a good decision, if single please hit this workout zone :p They will squeeze you like anything. Good luck.

Managment! This is a one-man show company here in India. Anytime any day any policy can be changed and they will keep you changing their policies to keep you roped as much as possible. You ll crave for leaves, since the work load is always very high for most of the teams. Since 2023 beginning one by one most of the valuable employee left the organization because of the management's behaviour. God bless them.

The overall work-life balance at the company is good.

Dislikes

We are required to work only night shifts. The promotions and appraisals in the company are not satisfactory. Additionally, job security is lacking.
