Pay, WFH, not having to deal with Sydney traffic

Absolute waste of time. Better to work in a start up at half the pay and actually learn and contribute, so using those skills you can move on to better places.

Loved working at Atlassian, especially the culture inside which is much spoken about is something that I got to experience too. There was a good focus on work-life balance and the learnings were immense too.

Currently, the job security is dodgy because of the firings, offers being revoked or delayed.

No worklife balance. Donot value human beings Confused in the name of smart work. People actually go thru a turmoil every quarter and are scared of job safety The RSUs are imposed and share value lost by 70%

Toxic culture, leadership pushes only their chamchas, no transparent and timely feedback, no growth for managers & engineers , rating system is fully biased , only senior management gets chance to travel and showcase story, no technical growth

Only Writing , writing , writing pages as a leader or individual contributor, heavy scrutiny on what you post on LinkedIn , internal feedback, micro management, visionless leadership , favouritism on promotions and annual ratings, abrupt changes with zero learning curve. Good for ICs but not for managers. Sharing this as a person working closely into management.
