The compensation here is good. Working here requires diligence. Work load is satisfactory. Not very hectic work, but have to show up regularly. Day duty only, but rarely (once/twice a month) calls on odd hours. Have to interact with patients and their relatives (who are mostly remote in location/abroad) which improves communication skills. Work life balance good. Work culture excellent.

Dislikes

Lesser scope for personal growth as the patients remain the same. Working here is good as long as you really wish to deal with geriatric issues (dementia, bowel movements, delirium, etc) on a daily basis. If you get easily annoyed/irritated with the elderly, this is not a place for you.
