There are many things to dislike. But first and foremost is the India's local management. They treat others very rudely and everyone is evaluated by their monthend numbers . Secondly, they operate in multiple super specialitiy segments but other than nephorology, they dont have any stake in other segments because they don't have any strategic planning to do so. Every thing is dependent on the Frontline sales guy. For all these reasons and many other things they sales performance is consistently going downwards..Attrition rate very high. This used to be a very good employee friendly organization and a nice place to work but now its terrible.

It has good products and nice pipeline, support from Japan is unbelievable. SESA is very supportive, HR altogether is supportive.

Dislikes

Astellas India Division has inherent politics and also few Old people think they have monopoly and upper hand. Marketing is too Naive.

The company culture is no one beat in the industry. Work life balance is another thing which I like here at astellas.

Career growth is the toughest one. You need to work hard and improve your skill st to move the next level.

Working in Astellas is a very good Company , and the trust that they keep Japanese MNC are high in everything , culture and company everything is good , but the Indian operation and ground level work is not happening. Some of them in the organisation just doing time pass for time being and getting paid. As a organisation wonderful company .

Astellas the trust they kept in Indian operation that won't be met due to the management and team and support and the ground level work is not happening .

Overall in my tenure of 1.3 years ....I like only the respect that I have got from HCP’s due to company image and brands which I was handling

Dislikes

Job security is primary thing which I dislike and due to which I have to left Astellas Pharma ..... and irrespective of multinational company director can call field person to resign for not achieving sales target. And in this HR and so called compliance team doesn’t even bother.
