Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!
I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

we can study anything regarding subject in free time. Main L & T ECC is very good in all the things. but they are merging some companiens with them like infrasturcture engineering is damging their names.

Earlier the company used to be good. Earlier we had job security and management was very supportive. Not now.

Dislikes

...is no scope for growth. Hierarchy is everything for even smallest of facilities. Long delay in payment of salary components. Even salary gets delayed. Attrition rate is very high and people are leaving out of frustration. Work load of the people leaving is dumped on people staying back.

...nd the same has to meet in the appraisal. But that is not all happening here. Whomever working in the same company has to consider for appraisal based on performance and experience but here there is no growth in the salary. Whomever coming from other company peoples receiving higher salary.
